Notifications overview
DisputeDash keeps notifications deliberately minimal — it emails you only about things that need an admin’s attention, so notifications stay meaningful. There are three types.
The three notifications
Section titled “The three notifications”- Usage limit warning — sent when your workspace approaches (80%) or reaches (100%) your plan’s monthly dispute limit. See Usage & overages.
- Payment issue — sent when a subscription payment fails, so you can fix it before dispute processing stays paused. See Fixing a payment issue.
- Upgrade suggestion — sent when your usage suggests a different plan would save you money or avoid unfought disputes.
All three go to workspace admins.
When you’ll get an upgrade suggestion
Section titled “When you’ll get an upgrade suggestion”The upgrade suggestion is sent at most once per billing period, and only when it’s genuinely useful — for example, once you’re well into the period and have used a good share of your limit, and a switch would either save money or stop disputes going unfought because you’re on track to exceed your limit. Unlimited and Enterprise plans never receive it.
Controlling notifications
Section titled “Controlling notifications”Delivery is controlled at two levels:
- Admins set which notifications go out for the whole workspace — see Workspace notification settings.
- Each person controls which of these emails they personally receive — see Your notification preferences.
You’ll also see notifications in-app, with an unread count, independent of email.
