Notifications overview

DisputeDash keeps notifications deliberately minimal — it emails you only about things that need an admin’s attention, so notifications stay meaningful. There are three types.

  • Usage limit warning — sent when your workspace approaches (80%) or reaches (100%) your plan’s monthly dispute limit. See Usage & overages.
  • Payment issue — sent when a subscription payment fails, so you can fix it before dispute processing stays paused. See Fixing a payment issue.
  • Upgrade suggestion — sent when your usage suggests a different plan would save you money or avoid unfought disputes.

All three go to workspace admins.

The upgrade suggestion is sent at most once per billing period, and only when it’s genuinely useful — for example, once you’re well into the period and have used a good share of your limit, and a switch would either save money or stop disputes going unfought because you’re on track to exceed your limit. Unlimited and Enterprise plans never receive it.

Delivery is controlled at two levels:

You’ll also see notifications in-app, with an unread count, independent of email.
