Connect CheckoutChamp

Connecting CheckoutChamp as a checkout platform lets DisputeDash pull order and customer data as evidence. CheckoutChamp is a subscription/checkout CRM that sits on top of your payment gateways — it’s the source of order data, while the dispute itself is still fought on the underlying processor the order was charged on.

  1. In CheckoutChamp, go to Admin → API Users and create (or pick) an API user.
  2. Make sure the user has the Query Orders and Query Transactions endpoints enabled (Query Customers / Query Purchases are useful too).
  3. Note the user’s loginId and password — these are the API credentials.
  1. Go to Brands → Connections for the brand. (The Integrations page’s CheckoutChamp card links you here.)
  2. Choose Add checkout platform → CheckoutChamp.
  3. Enter the API loginId and password, then save.
  4. Click the Test connection (plug) icon — a successful test confirms the credentials are valid.
  • Order and line items (product, quantity, price)
  • Customer name, email, phone, and the IP address on the order
  • Billing and shipping addresses
  • Order total and currency
  • Refund status
  • Tracking number, where the order records one
  • CheckoutChamp does not support the automated fraud filter or refund block that UltraCart does.
  • A CheckoutChamp connection is for order data. Disputes are still fought on whichever payment processor the brand uses.
  • You can connect a CheckoutChamp account to each of your brands and manage everything from one workspace. See connecting multiple platforms.
