Review vs auto-submit
Once DisputeDash finishes building a case’s evidence, it can either wait for someone to review and submit it, or submit it automatically. You choose which — as a workspace default, with per-brand overrides.
The two modes
Section titled “The two modes”- Review — every completed case waits at Awaiting review until a person inspects the evidence and submits it. Full control, but nothing is sent until you act.
- Auto-submit — completed cases submit automatically after a delay you set, giving your team a window to step in if needed.
For auto-submit, you pick the delay: submit immediately, or wait 2 hours, 4 hours, or 24 hours after evidence gathering completes.
Set the workspace default
Section titled “Set the workspace default”- Go to Settings → Automation.
- Choose Review or Auto-submit (and a delay for auto-submit).
- Save.
Override per brand
Section titled “Override per brand”Individual brands can deviate from the workspace default. Set a brand’s mode in Brands → Connections → Automation mode. The Automation settings page shows each brand’s current mode for reference.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- A case in Needs attention (something failed to gather) is never auto-submitted — it always waits for a human, regardless of mode.
- Test cases are never auto-submitted, and can’t be submitted to a processor at all.
- A short auto-submit delay is a good middle ground: automation handles the volume, but your team still has a window to catch anything unusual.
