Connect Shopify Payments
Shopify Payments is configured entirely per brand. Each brand connects its own store, and disputes are delivered to a webhook endpoint unique to your workspace.
What you’ll need
Section titled “What you’ll need”- Your store domain (
your-store.myshopify.com). - A Shopify access token with dispute permissions.
- A webhook secret for verifying incoming webhooks.
Connect a brand
Section titled “Connect a brand”- Go to Brands → Connections for the brand.
- Add a Shopify Payments processor account.
- Enter the shop domain, access token, and webhook secret. All three are required.
- Save.
Register the webhook
Section titled “Register the webhook”In Shopify, register the webhook URL DisputeDash shows you — it’s unique to your workspace:

DisputeDash verifies each webhook’s signature using the webhook secret you entered.
Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”- If you run multiple Shopify stores under one workspace, be aware disputes are currently attributed to the brand’s first Shopify Payments account. If you have several Shopify stores in one workspace, contact support before relying on automated routing.
- Duplicate webhooks are de-duplicated for 24 hours.
