Connect Recharge

Recharge is the most widely used subscription app for Shopify and BigCommerce. Connecting it lets DisputeDash prove a customer’s full rebill history and cancellation status on recurring-billing disputes.

Recharge connects two ways — one-click OAuth (recommended) or an API token.

  • A Recharge account for the store this brand sells on.
  • Admin access to approve an app connection (OAuth) or permission to create an API token.
  1. Go to Brands → (your brand) → Connections → Subscription platforms → Add.
  2. Choose Recharge and click Connect Recharge (OAuth).
  3. Approve read access to customers, subscriptions, and orders in Recharge.
  4. You’re returned to DisputeDash and the Recharge source shows Connected.

Your access refreshes automatically — you won’t need to re-authorize.

  1. In Recharge admin, go to Apps → API tokens → Create (or Custom API tokens).
  2. Grant read scopes for customers, subscriptions, and orders.
  3. Copy the token.
  4. In DisputeDash: Brands → (your brand) → Connections → Subscription platforms → Add → Recharge, paste the token, and Connect.

Customers (matched by email), their subscriptions (status, start date, cancellation date + reason, next charge, recurring items), and their charges (the rebill timeline: date, amount, status, and the linked store order id). All read-only.

Use the Test button on the connected Recharge source to confirm the credentials work.
